Crandall & Pera Law’s Steve Crandall Honored in the 2027 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America®
At Crandall & Pera Law, we’re incredibly proud to announce that one of our founding partners, Steve Crandall, earned a spot in the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America®.
Founded in 1981, The Best Lawyers in America® has been publishing lists of peer-reviewed members of the legal profession since 1983, making it the longest-running legal peer review publication in the country. Using its Purely Peer Review® methodology, Best Lawyers requires that attorneys be nominated by someone other than themselves, then evaluated confidentially by currently recognized lawyers in the same practice area and region.
Lawyers cannot pay to be included on the list. For the 2027 edition, there were 3.8 million evaluations from more than 32,000 voting lawyers, and only about 5% of practicing attorneys are named in each edition.
Steve’s 2027 recognized practice areas
This year, Steve was named in two practice areas:
- Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs
- Medical Malpractice Law – Plaintiffs
Steve was previously honored by the publication as “Lawyer of the Year” for Medical Malpractice Law – Plaintiffs, Cleveland (2019). He has been named on Best Lawyers’ lists since 2015.
Steve has spent more than 30 years as a trial lawyer and is licensed in Ohio, Kentucky, and various federal courts. While he started his career as a defense lawyer, he later switched to plaintiff’s side litigation, where he uses his background to help injured people get the support they need. He focuses his practice on medical negligence, birth injury, catastrophic personal injury, trucking, and product liability.
